About the RoleWe are looking for passionate, energetic, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Associates to join our growing ButterHands team.

As a Food & Beverage Associate, you will be at the forefront of the ButterHands experience, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining product quality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day outlet operations.

From welcoming customers and helping them discover our menu to preparing and serving products with consistency and care, you will play an important role in bringing our brand to life.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced café environment, take pride in delivering excellent service, and are eager to develop their skills within a growing F&B organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Experience & Hospitality

• Welcome customers warmly and create a friendly, engaging, and memorable in-store experience.
• Assist customers with menu selections, product recommendations, and enquiries.
• Take orders accurately, handle customer requests efficiently, and ensure timely service.
• Address customer feedback and concerns professionally, with a solution-oriented approach.
• Build positive relationships with regular customers and contribute to a welcoming café environment.

2. Food & Beverage Preparation & Service

• Assist in the preparation, assembly, presentation, and service of cookies, coffee, beverages, and other menu offerings.
• Follow standard recipes, portioning guidelines, and operating procedures to ensure consistency across products.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of menu offerings, ingredients, and product specifications.
• Ensure all food and beverages are served according to ButterHands' quality and presentation standards.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new recipes, beverage techniques, and product launches.

3. Outlet Operations & Efficiency

• Support daily outlet operations, including opening and closing procedures, workstation preparation, and service readiness.
• Operate POS and billing systems accurately, including handling cash and digital payments.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising standards throughout the outlet.
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory monitoring, and the proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
• Minimise product wastage and contribute to efficient resource utilisation.

4. Quality, Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, food safety, and sanitation.
• Follow established food handling, storage, and temperature-control procedures.
• Ensure equipment, preparation stations, and customer-facing areas remain clean and well-maintained.
• Adhere to company SOPs and applicable food safety requirements.

5. Teamwork & Continuous Learning

• Collaborate effectively with fellow associates, baristas, kitchen staff, and outlet supervisors to ensure seamless service.
• Participate actively in product training, operational workshops, and skill-development initiatives.
• Adapt quickly to new menu launches, seasonal offerings, and evolving service practices.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and contribute positively to team performance.
• Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills

• We value attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn just as much as prior experience.
• Previous experience in cafés, bakeries, QSRs, restaurants, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and customer handling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in Hindi and basic conversational English.
• A genuine interest in coffee, bakery products, food innovation, and the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Comfortable operating POS systems and handling basic billing transactions, or willing to learn.
• A positive, disciplined, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, and operational details.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per operational requirements.
• Willingness to take initiative, learn new skills, and grow within the organisation.
