Hair Transplant Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Hair Transplant Technician to join our clinical team. The candidate will assist the Hair Transplant Surgeon/Doctor during hair restoration procedures and ensure smooth, safe and efficient execution of the procedure.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in FUE, DHI and hair transplant procedures, strong knowledge of graft handling and implantation, and a good understanding of OT protocols, sterilization and infection control.

Candidates with experience in hair transplant clinics, dermatology clinics, cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery or aesthetic clinics will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Hair Transplant Surgeon/Doctor during hair transplant procedures.
• Prepare the OT/procedure room, instruments, equipment and required consumables before the procedure.
• Assist with FUE, DHI and other hair restoration procedures as directed by the surgeon.
• Support graft extraction, collection, sorting, counting, handling and preservation as per clinical protocols.
• Assist with graft implantation and placement under the supervision of the surgeon/doctor and within the candidate's authorized scope of practice.
• Handle grafts carefully to minimize damage and maintain graft quality.
• Assist with patient preparation before the procedure.
• Maintain proper patient positioning, comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Follow strict sterilization, infection-control and OT hygiene protocols.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized and maintained.
• Maintain adequate stock of medical and procedural consumables.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning, dressing and patient instructions as directed by the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate procedure-related records and documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with surgeons, doctors, nurses, technicians and other clinical staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Follow clinic SOPs, safety protocols and professional standards at all times.
