Production Merchandiser – Women’s Ethnic Wear

We are seeking a Production Merchandiser to manage end-to-end production of women’s ethnic wear, including kurtis, kurta sets and co-ords.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with designers, pattern masters, vendors and teams from sampling to dispatch.
• Prepare production plans, time-and-action calendars, purchase orders and material requirement sheets.
• Source fabrics, trims, embroidery and packaging materials.
• Monitor sampling, fit approvals, size sets, pre-production samples and production.
• Track output, identify delays and ensure orders meet timelines.
• Maintain product quality, measurement accuracy, embroidery consistency and finishing standards.
• Coordinate inspections, resolve production issues and minimise rework, wastage and cost overruns.
• Maintain production records and provide status reports to management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of production merchandising experience, preferably in women’s ethnic wear.
• Strong vendor management, communication, costing and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, embroidery, quality control and production planning.
