Molding & Quality Control Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING QUALITY

* Visit molding/OEM factories and monitor production quality.

* Inspect molded plastic parts for finish, appearance, dimensions and fitting.

* Identify molding defects such as:

  * Flash / Burr

  * Sink Marks

  * Short Shot

  * Warpage

  * Weld / Flow Marks

  * Burn Marks

  * Black Spots

  * Silver Marks

  * Shrinkage

  * Ejector Marks

  * Colour Variation

  * Surface Defects

  * Dimensional Variation

* Understand the probable root cause of molding defects.

* Coordinate directly with vendors/machine operators for process corrections.

* Monitor mould trials and production runs.

* Check mold-related issues affecting product fitting and assembly.

* Help vendors reduce rejection, rework and repeated moulding defects.

* Follow up with vendors until quality issues are properly resolved.

2. SPEAKER PRODUCT QUALITY CONTROL

Advanced electronic/laboratory testing is NOT required.

The candidate will perform normal quality and functional checks, including:

* Plastic body finish and overall appearance

* Scratches, dents, marks and colour variation

* Body fitting and assembly

* Button operation

* Power ON/OFF

* Bluetooth connection

* Speaker sound/functionality

* Charging function

* LED/indicator operation

* Basic battery/function check

* Accessories and components

* Branding, logo and printing quality

* Packaging and packing quality

* Overall product quality before final approval

3. VENDOR QUALITY MANAGEMENT

* Regularly coordinate with OEM and molding vendors regarding quality issues.

* Communicate SOROO’s quality standards to vendors.

* Inspect production at different stages.

* Identify repeated quality problems and ensure corrective action.

* Monitor rejection and defect trends.

* Ensure vendors follow approved samples and quality standards.

* Give quality feedback and approval before dispatch.

4. QUALITY REPORTS & DOCUMENTATION

* Prepare inspection reports.

* Maintain defect and rejection records.

* Maintain vendor quality reports.

* Record molding defects and corrective actions.

* Maintain approved samples and quality standards.

* Prepare basic RCA/CAPA reports where required.

* Maintain quality records using MS Excel.
