Astro Divyam is a growing Astro-Tech and Vedic Astrology content company focused on creating high-quality, engaging and professionally produced content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer who can take ownership of the complete post-production process for our podcasts, YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, short-form content and digital campaigns.

This is not a basic video-editing role. We are looking for a professional who understands storytelling, pacing, visual communication, motion graphics, sound design, effects and modern social-media content production.

🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES🎙️

• Podcast & Long-Form Video EditingEdit professional podcast episodes, interviews and long-form YouTube videos.
• Multi-camera editing, camera-angle selection and seamless cuts.
• Professional audio synchronization, noise reduction and sound enhancement.
• Add B-roll, images, graphics, transitions and supporting visuals.
• Create engaging opening sequences, intros, outros and branded segments.
• Maintain consistent Astro Divyam visual identity across all videos.
• 📱 Reels & Short-Form ContentEdit high-retention Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook videos.
• Strong understanding of the first 2–3 seconds hook and audience retention.
• Fast-paced editing, captions, kinetic typography, zooms, transitions and visual effects.
• Convert long-form podcasts into multiple engaging short-form clips.
• Understand current social-media editing trends without compromising professional quality.
• 🎨 Graphic Design & Visual ContentCreate professional thumbnails, title cards, social-media graphics and video overlays.
• Design visually appealing lower thirds, infographics and information graphics.
• Create astrology-related visual representations, charts, planetary graphics and explainer visuals.
• Maintain consistent typography, layouts, branding and visual language.
• ✨ Motion Graphics & AnimationCreate professional 2D motion graphics and animations.
• Animated text, titles, logos, icons, diagrams and visual explanations.
• Use motion graphics to explain complex astrology concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
• Create cinematic effects, transitions and visual compositions where appropriate.
• 🔊 Sound & Visual EffectsProfessional sound design and audio mixing.
• Music selection and synchronization.
• Sound effects, ambience and transitions.
• Colour correction and professional colour grading.
• Green-screen/chroma-key compositing where required.
• Basic VFX and compositing skills.

💻 REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLSThe candidate should have professional working experience with industry-standard editing software.

• Strong understanding of professional video workflows
• Professional audio editing and mixing

• AI-assisted video production tools

Candidates must be comfortable working with professional software and professional post-production workflows.

• Has a strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating professional editing.
• Has experience editing podcasts and short-form social-media content.
• Understands storytelling, pacing and audience retention.
• Has a strong eye for design, composition and aesthetics.
• Can independently take raw footage and turn it into publication-ready content.
• Understands modern YouTube and Instagram content formats.
• Is creative, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Can work independently as well as collaborate with the content team.
• Is willing to experiment with new visual styles, animations and editing techniques.
• Can maintain consistency with an established brand identity.

🚫 Please NoteThis position is NOT suitable for basic/casual video editors.

We are specifically looking for professional editors with demonstrable experience in Premiere Pro, After Effects, motion graphics, professional video editing and visual design.

Candidates without a portfolio/showreel may not be considered.
