Job Description
Welcome guests and assist them with seating.
Set up tables with cutlery, crockery, glasses, napkins, etc.
Take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
Serve food and beverages to guests properly and on time.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and restaurant floor.
Refill water, cutlery, napkins, and other guest requirements.
Coordinate with Captain, Restaurant Manager, Kitchen and Bar team.
Handle guest requests politely and provide good service.
Follow hygiene, grooming and food-safety standards.
Assist during opening and closing duties.
Check that all service equipment is clean and ready for use.
Report guest complaints, breakages, shortages or other issues to the senior staff.
Follow restaurant SOPs and maintain professional behaviour at all times.
