Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate crimping applicators used in wire harness manufacturing.
- Install and adjust applicators in automatic or semi-automatic crimping machines.
- Set crimping height, crimping force, and other parameters as per specifications.
- Perform crimp quality inspections, including crimp height, pull-force tests, and visual checks.
- Troubleshoot crimping defects such as loose crimps, improper crimping, and terminal damage.
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and replacement of applicator parts.
- Read technical drawings, crimp specifications, and terminal wire details.
- Maintain production quality and follow safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the production and quality departments to resolve crimping issues.
Required Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 1–3 years in wire harness manufacturing, preferably in crimping applicator setting and maintenance.
Key Skills: Crimping machine operation, applicator setting, terminal crimping, crimp-height measurement, pull-force testing, and troubleshooting.
