Job Description
- Provide L1/L2 desktop and technical support to users.
- Trobleshoot Windows 10/11, laptops, desktops, printers and other peripherals.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems and software.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, diagnosis and replacement of laptop/desktop components.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP related issues.
- Configure email accounts, Microsoft 365 and Outlook.
- Troubleshoot printer, scanner and other peripheral devices.
- Handle laptop/Desktop installation, deployment, collection and reconfiguration.
- Maintain IT asset and equipment records.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of routers, switches and firewalls.
- Provide remote and onsite technical support when required.
- Manage user accounts, permisusions and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Maintain proper documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
- Coordinate with senior engineers/vendors for complex technical issues.
- Follow company IT support SOPs, security policies and ticketing procedures.
- Support customers using rented laptops/desktops and other IT infrastructure.
- Required Technical SkillsGood knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and networking fundamentals.
- Hardware troubleshooting of laptops and desktops.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 / Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of printers and network printers.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of remote support tools such as AnyDesk / TeamViewer / RDP will be an advantage.
- IT hardware rental/service industry experience will be an advantage.
