Electrical Site Engineer – Job Description

• Supervise and monitor all electrical installation works at the project site.
• Ensure installation of electrical systems as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project teams.
• Monitor the installation of cable trays, conduits, wiring, and cable laying.
• Supervise the installation of electrical panels, and other electrical equipment.
• Ensure proper installation of lighting, power distribution, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor daily site progress and prepare daily progress reports (DPR).
• Ensure all electrical works are completed as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material availability.
• Check material quality and ensure compliance with approved technical specifications.
• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety procedures.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with civil, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to avoid service clashes.
• Ensure proper implementation of approved method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on electrical work progress.
• Support the final testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.

Key Skills Required:
