Job Description

  • Installation and commissioning of portable and fixed gas detectors at customer locations.
  • Perform routine calibration, bump testing, functional testing and preventive maintenance of gas detection instruments.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to gas detectors, sensors, batteries, pumps, displays, alarms and other components.
  • Carry out sensor replacement, battery replacement and minor repairs as required.
  • Configure and test gas detectors as per customer requirements and OEM specifications.
  • Conduct site surveys and understand customer requirements for gas detection systems.
  • Provide technical support for LEL, O₂, CO, H₂S, CO₂, SO₂, NO, NO₂ and other gas detection applications, as applicable to the instrument.
  • Install and commission fixed gas detection systems, transmitters, controllers and associated accessories.
  • Verify alarm settings, relay outputs, analog outputs and communication interfaces wherever applicable.
  • Maintain proper records of calibration, service, repair and commissioning activities.
  • Prepare Service Reports, Calibration Certificates, Installation Reports and Commissioning Reports.
  • Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical resolution.
