Molding Machine Operator

Position: Data Cable Molding Operator

Job Responsibilities:

• Roles & Responsibilities – Molding Machine Operator (Data Cable)Operate and monitor molding machines used for manufacturing data cable components and assemblies.
• Set up machines, molds, temperature, pressure, speed, and other parameters as per production requirements.
• Load and position cable components/materials correctly before molding.
• Perform over-molding of connectors, plugs, joints, and other data cable components.
• Monitor the molding process to ensure consistent product quality and proper finishing.
• Check molded cables for defects such as cracks, air bubbles, improper molding, short shots, flash, or deformation.
• Make basic machine adjustments to maintain required production and quality standards.
• Replace molds and assist with machine changeovers when required.
• Maintain proper production output and minimize material wastage.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Report machine breakdowns, process abnormalities, and quality issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain production records, machine settings, and rejection reports.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Coordinate with quality and production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Data Cable Modeling Opertor.
• Comfortable with Excel formulas, filters, sorting, and formatting.
• Good typing speed and attention to detail.
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
