Project Engineer Solar

We are looking for a Project Engineer – Solar to support the execution and coordination of solar projects from planning through completion.

The candidate will be responsible for site coordination, project execution, monitoring project progress and ensuring that work is completed as per defined quality, safety and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support execution of solar projects at project sites.
• Plan and monitor day-to-day project activities in coordination with the project team.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, site teams and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against planned timelines and milestones.
• Ensure installation and execution activities are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate for material availability and movement at project sites.
• Monitor manpower deployment and productivity at site.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day site execution issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project management teams.
• Maintain project documentation, site reports and progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges and completion status.

Required Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in Solar Project Execution / Solar EPC.
• Good understanding of solar project execution and site activities.
• Experience in site coordination and contractor management.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical/solar drawings.
• Good project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project timelines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
