Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Associate with 1+ year experience in a Chartered Accountant firm to assist in handling accounting, taxation, GST compliance, and audit assignments. The candidate should have practical exposure to statutory compliance and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Handling accounting for clients using Tally / Zoho / other accounting software
• Preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Bank reconciliation and verification of supporting documents

2. GST Compliance

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• GST reconciliation and input tax credit verification
• Assisting in GST notices and departmental replies

3. Income Tax Compliance

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and companies
• TDS return preparation and filing
• Form 26Q, 24Q reconciliation and compliance

4. Audit & Assurance

• Assisting in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and Internal Audit assignments
• Preparation of audit working papers and documentation
• Verification of books and compliance with applicable laws

5. ROC & Compliance

• Assisting in company incorporation, ROC filings, and annual compliances
• Preparing documents for MCA filings

6. Client Coordination

• Communicating with clients for required data and documents
• Handling routine queries related to taxation and compliance
• Skills RequiredKnowledge of GST, Income Tax, and basic accounting principles
• Experience with Tally, Excel, and compliance portals
• Good communication and client handling skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments
