Job Title: BSS – Loan Officer

Job SummaryBSS Loan Officers will be responsible for providing loan services to small retailers and business outlets under the Bharat Super Shop (BSS) model. The role involves customer acquisition, lead generation, sales, relationship management, loan servicing, and collection activities. This is an outbound/field-based role requiring strong interpersonal skills and a basic understanding of sales processes.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Acquisition

• Conduct market surveys to identify potential customers interested in loans.
• Generate leads and acquire new customers.
• Expand the customer base by identifying new business opportunities.
• Meet assigned sales and customer acquisition targets.

2. Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Provide effective customer service and resolve customer queries.
• Regularly visit customers and business outlets to understand their requirements.

3. Sales & Revenue Generation

• Promote Overdraft and Retail Loan products to eligible customers.
• Generate business through effective sales and relationship management.
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

4. Collection & Portfolio Management

• Carry out loan collection activities as per company guidelines.
• Ensure timely repayment and improve collection efficiency.
• Minimize customer delinquency and maintain good portfolio quality.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments.

5. Field Operations

• Perform extensive field visits for customer acquisition, servicing, sales, and collections.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain regular interaction with small retailers and business outlets.
• Skills & QualificationsEducation: 10th / PUC / Matriculation Pass.
• Experience: 0–2 years; freshers may also apply.
• Good sales and customer-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• High degree of self-motivation and ambition.
• Ability to work in a competitive, target-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and the local/vernacular language in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travelling and fieldwork.
• Mandatory RequirementsMust own an insured two-wheeler.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
• Willingness to work in an outbound/field-based role.
• Comfortable with sales and collection activities.
