Job Description
- Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Payable (AR/AP) | JDManage day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities.
- Prepare and maintain customer invoices, purchase bills, receipts and payment records.
- Track customer outstanding payments and conduct regular follow-ups for collections.
- Verify vendor bills, supporting documents and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate customer and vendor ledgers and reconcile accounts regularly.
- Perform bank, customer and vendor reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Purchase and Operations teams regarding billing and payment issues.
- Maintain proper records of GST invoices, TDS and other applicable accounting documents.
- Monitor payment due dates, receivables ageing and payable schedules.
- Prepare AR/AP ageing reports, outstanding reports and MIS for management.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in Tally/ERP/accounting software.
- Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Follow up on disputed invoices and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance requirements.
- Ensure accurate, timely and confidential handling of company financial records.
