Guest Service Associate

Job Summary

Hotel Sidh Vedantha is looking for a well-groomed, enthusiastic, and guest-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) to deliver excellent hospitality and ensure a pleasant experience for every guest. The candidate will be responsible for assisting guests, providing prompt service, maintaining cleanliness and service standards, and coordinating with different hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Key Responsibilities Welcome and greet guests warmly, ensuring a professional and friendly hospitality experience.
• Assist guests with their requests, queries, and complaints in a polite and timely manner.
• Provide prompt and efficient service in the assigned department, including Restaurant, Front Office, or other operational areas.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, personal grooming, hygiene, and professional conduct.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist guests with hotel facilities, services, menus, and other relevant information.
• Take guest orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, wherever assigned to F&B service.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and proper arrangement of the assigned work area.
• Follow hotel SOPs, service standards, safety regulations, and departmental guidelines.
• Handle guest feedback and immediately report complaints or special requests to the concerned supervisor.
• Assist in setting up restaurants, banquet halls, meeting rooms, and other service areas as required.
• Ensure proper handling of hotel equipment, crockery, cutlery, linen, and other operational materials.
• Support upselling of hotel services, food, beverages, and other facilities wherever applicable.
• Maintain proper coordination with team members and complete shift handovers effectively.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the department supervisor or management.
• Skills & Qualifications Minimum 10+2 qualification; a diploma or degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality is preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in the hospitality industry; freshers with a positive attitude may also apply.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Pleasant personality, professional grooming, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
