About the Role

Axisyn LLP is looking for a technically skilled and enthusiastic Application Engineer to support our 3D scanning, inspection, reverse engineering, and metrology solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting customer demonstrations, application trials, 3D scanning projects, technical presentations, training, and pre- and post-sales technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct 3D scanning demonstrations at customer sites and Axisyn facilities.

- Operate and demonstrate professional 3D scanners and related software.

- Perform 3D scanning, dimensional inspection, comparison and measurement of components.

- Support reverse engineering and 3D data generation projects.

- Prepare and explain inspection reports, 3D scan data and measurement results.

- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable scanning solutions.

- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers.

- Provide application and technical support to customers after installation/sale.

- Train customers on scanner operation and basic software workflows.

- Travel to customer locations for demonstrations, scanning jobs, training and technical support.

- Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Prepare technical quotations, application notes, scan reports and demonstration reports when required.

- Support exhibitions, industrial events and customer visits.

- Maintain proper records of projects, demonstrations and customer applications.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Basic knowledge of 3D scanning and metrology.

- Understanding of CAD/CAM, GD&T, dimensional inspection and reverse engineering.

- Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo or similar will be an advantage.

- Familiarity with 3D scanning/inspection software will be an advantage.

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, sheet metal, moulding and fabrication.

- Good computer skills and ability to learn new technical software quickly.

Freshers

Freshers with a strong technical background are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided on 3D scanning equipment, inspection software and application workflows.

Candidates with experience in 3D scanning, CMM, quality inspection, metrology, reverse engineering, CAD/CAM or manufacturing applications will be preferred.
