Job Description

Interior Designer — Job Description Role: Interior Designer



Responsibilities:

  • Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements.
  • Prepare floor plans, layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings.
  • Create 2D/3D designs using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit.
  • Select materials, colors, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and other consultants.
  • Prepare material specifications and cost estimates.
  • Visit project sites to monitor execution and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
  • Make revisions based on client feedback and project requirements.


Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of interior-design software.
  • Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, and space planning.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and project-management abilities.
  • Relevant experience is preferred but freshers may also be considered.
