Job Description

Technical SkillsYou need enough depth to understand industrial products and maintenance needs:

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering basics
  • Familiarity with MRO products (Machine Spares, Electrical, Electronic, Spares, Linear bearings, lubricants, tools, safety equipment, automation parts, etc.)
  • Ability to read technical drawings, datasheets, and specifications
  • Understanding of maintenance practices like preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Awareness of industry standards and compliance requirements

💼 Sales & Business SkillsThis is not just selling—it’s solution selling:

  • Strong B2B sales skills (lead generation, negotiation, closing deals)
  • Ability to identify customer pain points and propose cost-effective solutions
  • Experience with pricing strategies, tenders, and contracts
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory concepts (important in MRO)

  • Basic proficiency in Excel for reporting and tracking

  • Knowledge of plant operations and downtime impact
