Job Description
About Flying Flea
Flying Flea is Royal Enfield's all-electric brand, focused on connected, agile and technology-led electric two-wheelers for the city and beyond. The brand's first motorcycle, the Flying Flea FF.C6, combines a retro-futuristic design with modern electric vehicle technology and connected features.
We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused and target-oriented Sales Executive to join our Flying Flea team. The candidate will be responsible for customer engagement, product presentation, test rides, lead conversion, bookings and delivering a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Handling & Sales
- Welcome and engage customers visiting the Flying Flea showroom.
- Understand customer requirements, riding patterns, preferences and budget.
- Explain the Flying Flea product range and recommend the appropriate product based on customer requirements.
- Conduct professional product presentations and explain the motorcycle's features, technology and benefits.
- Handle customer enquiries through showroom visits, phone calls, digital enquiries and leads.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective customers.
- Convert enquiries into test rides, bookings and retail sales.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
2. EV Product Knowledge
The Sales Executive should develop strong knowledge of electric motorcycles and be able to confidently explain:
- Electric vehicle fundamentals.
- Battery capacity and charging requirements.
- Real-world factors affecting EV range.
- Charging time and charging options.
- Electric motor performance.
- Ride modes and regenerative features where applicable.
- Connected technology and smartphone integration.
- Safety and rider-assistance features.
- Running-cost and ownership considerations.
- EV maintenance requirements compared with conventional motorcycles.
3. Product Demonstration & Test Ride
- Conduct professional product demonstrations.
- Explain the motorcycle's controls, riding modes, connectivity and safety features.
- Coordinate and conduct customer test rides in accordance with company safety procedures.
- Explain charging procedures and basic EV ownership requirements.
- Ensure customers understand the product before and after the test ride.
- Record customer feedback and communicate relevant observations to the management team.
4. Lead Generation
- Generate new leads through showroom walk-ins, referrals, events, exhibitions and local activities.
- Follow up on leads received through digital platforms and company campaigns.
- Maintain an updated database of prospects.
- Identify potential EV customers within the assigned territory.
- Develop relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Generate referrals from existing customers.
5. Booking & Retail Process
- Explain the complete booking and purchase process to customers.
- Collect and verify required customer documents.
- Coordinate with the finance team for loan and financing requirements, where applicable.
- Coordinate with the registration and delivery teams.
- Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain proper records of bookings, cancellations and deliveries.
- Follow up with customers until final delivery.
6. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales journey.
- Provide accurate information without making unsupported commitments.
- Follow up after test rides and product demonstrations.
- Maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Handle customer questions professionally and escalate concerns when required.
- Support customer engagement activities and brand events.
7. Sales Reporting
- Update daily enquiry and lead status.
- Maintain accurate CRM/DMS records as applicable.
- Submit daily sales activity reports.
- Track test rides, enquiries, bookings and conversions.
- Monitor individual targets and achievement.
- Maintain proper follow-up schedules for prospective customers.
8. Market & Competitor Knowledge
- Keep yourself updated about the electric two-wheeler market.
- Understand competing electric motorcycles and their key features.
- Monitor competitor pricing, products, offers and customer propositions.
- Understand local EV customer trends.
- Share market feedback and competitor information with the management team.
Required Skills
Mandatory
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in electric two-wheeler / EV sales.
- Strong interest and understanding of electric motorcycles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-handling ability.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented approach.
- Ability to explain technical product features in simple language.
- Good follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence.
Preferred
- Experience with premium motorcycle or automobile sales.
- Experience handling EV customers.
- Experience conducting motorcycle test rides.
- Passion for motorcycles and new technology.
- Knowledge of electric vehicle charging and battery technology.
- Experience working with CRM/DMS systems.
