Shop Manager / Business Operations Manager

Who We're Looking ForWe need someone who can take full ownership of the shop — not a person who does just one job, but someone who steps in and solves whatever problem comes up.

What does that actually mean?

• Staff issue? He sorts it out.
• Stock comes short or damaged? He deals with the supplier directly.
• Customer complaint? He handles it on the spot.
• Cash doesn't tally? He finds out why.
• Someone hasn't paid their dues? He follows up and gets it collected.
• Shop is packed and chaotic? He steps up front and takes charge.

We don't want someone who says "that's not my job." We want someone who looks at a problem and thinks, "how do I fix this."

• Daily ResponsibilitiesOpen the shop in the morning, close it at night
• Manage a team of 5–6 staff — rosters, attendance, who's doing what
• Count and reconcile cash and UPI every evening
• Check and enter incoming stock the same day it arrives
• Manage contractor credit accounts — track what's given, what's due, follow up on time
• Handle orders coming in over WhatsApp
• Personally take charge at the counter during rush hours
• Experience We WantRan your own small shop or business before? Great — even if it didn't work out.
• Worked as a manager at a service centre, depot, or small independent shop? Good fit.
• Background in paint, hardware, tiles, sanitaryware, plywood, or electricals? Preferred.
• Not looking for: someone who's only worked one narrow job at a big branded showroom (DMart, Reliance, etc.) — everything there is already set up for you. Here, you think on your feet and figure it out yourself.
• What You NeedFluent in Marathi and Hindi
• Comfortable with mobile, WhatsApp, and basic billing software
• Quick with numbers in your head
• Ready to be on your feet all day
• Honest and responsible

No degree required. Real experience and street-smarts matter more.
