Electrical Site Engineer

ob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Construction Engineer to oversee all electrical installations, testing, and commissioning across our construction sites. You will ensure electrical engineering works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with project specifications and local electrical building codes.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision: Oversee day-to-day electrical installation work, including conduits, cable tray routing, wiring, DB dressing, switchgear, lighting, transformer installations, and grounding systems.
• Drawing & Design Review: Read, interpret, and implement electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), CAD/BIM layouts, schematic drawings, and MEP coordination plans.
• Contractor Management: Supervise sub-contractors, electricians, and technicians to maintain work quality, productivity, and project timelines.
• Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC): Conduct site inspections, prepare Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and ensure all installed equipment meets approved technical submittals and building standards.
• Testing & Commissioning: Oversee electrical testing procedures (megger/insulation resistance testing, loop testing, continuity, transformer load testing) prior to handover.
• Material Management: Review material requisitions, verify delivered electrical materials against project specs, and manage site inventory to prevent stockouts or wastage.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, site electrical safety standards, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
• Key Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma).
• Experience: 3 to 7 years of site execution experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in reading single-line diagrams (SLD) and electrical layouts.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM software is a plus.
• Knowledge of national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IS, IEC, or local municipal standards).
