Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman

Job Summary:

A Mechanical Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical components, systems, and machinery. They work closely with engineers and designers to convert concepts into precise, manufacturable drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical data to produce accurate drawings.
• Modify and update existing drawings as per design changes or feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, engineering principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all drawings and revisions.
• Assist in preparing bills of materials, assembly drawings, and part lists.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
• Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of industry standards and tolerances is preferred.

Work Environment:

• Typically works in an office setting with occasional visits to the workshop or production floor.
• May need to collaborate with suppliers or clients for design verification.

Additional Note / Work Mode:

• We are looking for a candidate who can prepare mechanical part drawings.
• This position allows for work from home, so the candidate should have access to the required CAD software and a reliable computer setup.
