Operation Head

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Head to manage and oversee all production activities. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, optimizing resources, and ensuring smooth manufacturing operations while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.

Manage the complete manufacturing process and ensure timely delivery of products.

Supervise production supervisors, engineers, operators, and other team members.

Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, and manpower productivity.

Ensure product quality standards and minimize rejection, rework, and wastage.

Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch departments.

Implement process improvements to reduce production costs and improve productivity.

Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, machinery, and manpower.

Monitor production reports, downtime, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ensure compliance with safety rules, company policies, and manufacturing standards.

Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Train and motivate employees to improve performance and operational efficiency.

Maintain production records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Ensure preventive maintenance of machines in coordination with the maintenance team.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good knowledge of manufacturing and production planning.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Knowledge of quality control and process improvement.

Ability to achieve production targets within deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Knowledge of MS Excel, ERP, or SAP is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in manufacturing industries.

Experience in handling production teams and shop-floor operations.

Ability to manage multiple production activities efficiently.

Candidates with experience in the relevant manufacturing process will be preferred.
