Accountant

Job Description: Senior AccountantJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, billing, inventory tracking, and statutory compliances. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience working with CA firms or corporate distribution setups, possessing deep proficiency in Tally and Excel.

• Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Invoicing: Handle high-volume daily billing, e-way bills, and sales/purchase invoice generation.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations (BRC) across multiple corporate bank accounts.
• GST & Statutory Compliance: Manage GST working, coordinate with tax consultants, upload data sheets, and file returns post-confirmation.
• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Maintain vendor and customer ledgers, track aging reports for outstanding payments, and execute systematic payment follow-ups.
• Financial Reporting & Estimation: Prepare daily consumption reports, stock registers, and cost estimates (direct and indirect material cost breakdowns) using Tally and Excel.
• Client & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with clients, manage booking verifications, and ensure plant/site material dispatches match documentation.
• Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Proven experience working in core accounting, billing, and taxation roles, preferably with exposure to CA firms handling multiple client portfolios.
• Software Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Tally and advanced MS Excel (capable of handling large datasets, automated ledger sheets, and report generation).
• Compliance Knowledge: Thorough understanding of GST regulations, filing procedures, and penalty/interest calculations.
• Work Ethic & Soft Skills: Strong multitasking capabilities, accuracy under high-volume workloads, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Location/Commute: Comfort or convenience with the office location (candidates residing nearby or willing to commute smoothly are preferred).
