JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Job Purpose

To manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the Finance & Accounts team in ensuring timely and accurate accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain books of accounts.
• Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, purchase and sales entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank, ledger and vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
• Track outstanding payments and coordinate with customers/vendors when required.
• Assist in monthly closing, MIS reports and financial statements.
• Coordinate with internal departments for required financial information.
• Support the senior accounts team in audits and other finance-related activities.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
