GCB5Contractor Technical Services Implementation and Support with AI enabled Operations

Role purpose

Join REMS Realtime Exchange and Messaging Services to deliver endtoend implementation and L0L3 support for market data infrastructure messaging platforms and external connectivity across UKUSAPAC Youll keep missioncritical trading services stable drive controlled change and use AIenabled operational techniques to reduce incident volume speed recovery and automate repetitive tasks

Key responsibilities

Production support L0L3

Provide followthesun support for market data messaging and external services globally ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs

Triage and resolve major incidents Sev1Sev2 with clear stakeholder communications decisive escalation and thorough postincident followup

Perform root cause analysis RCA and implement preventive actions to improve stability and service resilience

Implementation change delivery

Deliver global implementations and upgrades desktopserver applications network circuits including testing verification rollout and rollback planning

Coordinate with application teams telecomsnetwork services vendors and global REMS teams to execute changes safely and efficiently

Support performance and capacity management to maintain stable lowlatency enterprise messaging and market data services for trading and market data consumers

Governance operational excellence

Follow group processes for incidentchangeevent management documentation and configuration management to maintain auditready controls

Participate in resilience testing and operational drills validate vendornetwork changes to minimise production risk

AIenabled operations AIOps automation

Apply AIOps concepts to improve detection and response anomaly detection on logsmetrics correlation noise reduction and incident pattern recognition

Use AI assistants responsibly to accelerate troubleshooting eg summarising incident timelines drafting RCA reports generating runbook steps while respecting data confidentiality

Build and maintain automation for health checks diagnostics and standard recovery tasks using scripting andor Python with appropriate controls and peer review

Required skills and experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent in ITEngineering disciplines with 810 years experience including 4 years in missioncritical implementationsupport trading market data messaging or networking

Strong handson experience with LinuxUnix administration and scripting eg shell plus working knowledge of Windows desktop environments

Solid networking fundamentals TCPIP UDP DNS FTPHTTP and experience working with networktelecom teams CCNACCNP is a plus

Proven ability to handle urgent incidents using structured processes ITIL knowledge desirable with good judgement on escalation and risk

Clear written and spoken English confident handling of user requests and stakeholder communications

Working understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering for operational use cases incident summarization knowledge retrieval runbook drafting

Familiarity with logmetrics analysis using Python pandas basic ML concepts classificationanomaly detection or using AIOps features in monitoring platforms

Ability to create lightweight internal tools scripts chatops integrations that improve MTTRwhile following governance change control and confidentiality requirements
