HR Recruiter

Job DescriptionSmart Educator is looking for a proactive and result-oriented HR Recruiter to manage recruitment activities and support hiring requirements across Sales, Operations, Marketing and other departments.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, strong follow-up abilities and experience in sourcing and screening candidates through job portals and other recruitment channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting and interview coordination.
• Source candidates through Apna, Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals and other job portals.
• Understand manpower requirements from different departments.
• Conduct initial telephonic interviews and assess candidate suitability.
• Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates until joining.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases and daily hiring reports.
• Ensure timely closure of open positions as per hiring targets.
• Coordinate offer letters, joining formalities and onboarding documentation.
• Follow up with selected candidates to improve joining ratios.
• Support other HR activities as required.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of job portals and candidate sourcing techniques.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets and recruitment trackers.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet hiring deadlines.
• EdTech or high-volume recruitment experience will be an advantage.
