Job Purpose

This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously enhancing in-house developed automation platforms, web portals, and reporting solutions that support critical business and operational functions. The position ensures the availability, performance, security, scalability, and reliability of applications built on Python, Node.js, and React.js, operating in Linux environments and integrated with backend databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.

 

The role encompasses end-to-end application support, including troubleshooting application and database issues, implementing functional and technical enhancements, optimizing system performance, and automating operational processes. It also ensures compliance with established coding, deployment, security, and operational standards.

 

Working closely with Operations, Infrastructure, and Development teams, the incumbent drives continuous improvements, maintains system stability, and delivers scalable, efficient, and business-aligned automation and reporting solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and support organizational objectives.

• Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.
• Expertise in SQL development, database support, and performance tuning.
• Basic understanding of web servers, APIs, and application deployment processes.
• Experience in application support, automation, and production environment management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.

 

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in application support, automation, or development
• Experience managing in-house portals, automation tools, and reports
• Experience working in Linux production environments
• Telecom Domain knowledge is required
• Operations Experience is much preferred

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

Engineering Graduate in any of these areas
