Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. Throughout the day, the engineer utilizes various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving system compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt applications accordingly is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base articles for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM).
- Strong understanding of application configuration and customization within cloud-based platforms.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services to extend application functionality.
- Familiarity with low-code development environments to create efficient and scalable solutions.
- Ability to analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance stability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business-aligned technical solutions.
