Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Source and procure mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fabrication-related materials.
- Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize vendors.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, and Project teams for material requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Track order status and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and documentation.
- Ensure procurement activities meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Identify alternate vendors and support cost reduction initiatives.
