Job Description – Sr.Transport Executive

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

TRANSPORT OPERATIONS

 

·          Coordinate, schedule, and monitor transportation services to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

·          Manage and track vehicles, including routing, fuel consumption, maintenance, and driver assignment, to optimize resources and meet service requirements.

·          Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to plan and execute transportation activities, ensuring on-time delivery of goods or passengers.

·          Monitor transportation service performance, including key metrics such as delivery times, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness, and recommend improvements as needed.

·          Communicate effectively with drivers, suppliers, and customers to provide accurate and timely information, address inquiries and resolve issues.

·          Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and guidelines, including safety standards, legal requirements, and company policies.

·          Maintain and update transportation records, including trip logs, vehicle maintenance records, and customer data.

·          Analyze transportation data and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.

·          Proactively identify risks, obstacles, or potential disruptions in transportation operations and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.                                                                                                                                                                              

·          Outstation Tracking, Bus Follow up, Cab Tracking (Moveinsync Dashboard).

·          Checking daily compliance for bus & cabs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

·          Surprise compliance check for cabs on every Friday.

·          Making monthly data work related to transport.

 

Intercity & Local Travel       

 

·          Get approval from all travelers before arranging their travel. 

·          Mumbai to Pune travel & same day return request will be taken care by Mumbai Transport Team and cab will be booked accordingly.

·          All US expats cab booking request will be done by Mumbai Transport team.

·          US employees booking should be done only by credit card payment option.

·          Billing Mode for all India employees will be Bill to company.

·          Billing mode for all US employees will be Credit card payment.

 

Transport Application    

 

·          Profile creation for new user.

·          Generate the route according to schedule employees for a particular shift & try to achieve full occupancy.

·          Deploy escort in cab from evening 8:00pm to morning 7:00am.

·          Cab tracking on the MOVEINSYNC dashboard.

·          Close the SOS alarm raised on the real-time basis post checking with commuter.

·          Cabs document approval & rejection in Moveinsync are on the daily basis.

·          New driver creation in move in sync along with new cab induction.

·         Cab / Driver Activation & Deactivation is also done by the admin person according to the situation.
