Social Media Executive

Digital Amigos is looking for a creative, organised and responsible Social Media Executive who can manage multiple social media accounts, plan content, coordinate with the design and video teams, support shoots, and ensure timely execution and promotion of social media activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Prepare and maintain monthly social media content calendars for assigned clients.
• Research and develop engaging post ideas, reel concepts, captions, taglines, scripts and story ideas.
• Write clear, engaging and brand-relevant social media copy.
• Plan content around festivals, awareness days, campaigns, offers and important occasions.
• Research current social media trends, competitor activities, hashtags, trending formats and content ideas.
• Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors for posts, reels, stories and other creative requirements.
• Prepare proper content briefs, references, copy and creative directions for the design and video teams.
• Coordinate and support photo and video shoots, including content planning, scripts, references, shot requirements and scheduling.
• Be present at shoots when required and ensure the planned content is captured properly.
• Coordinate with the video team after shoots for reel selection, editing requirements and final delivery.
• Ensure posts, reels and stories are planned, reviewed and published on time.
• Schedule and publish approved content across social media platforms.
• Ensure captions, hashtags, location tags, mentions, collaborators and CTAs are correctly added before publishing.
• Maintain consistency in brand communication, tone, messaging and visual direction.
• Review creatives and videos for spelling, grammar, content accuracy, branding, contact details and overall quality before publishing.
• Track pending creatives, corrections, approvals and publishing status.
• Follow up with designers, editors and internal teams to ensure work is completed within deadlines.
• Manage multiple social media accounts and priorities effectively.
• Monitor comments, mentions and basic audience interactions where required.
• Support organic promotion of posts, reels, offers, launches and campaigns to improve reach and engagement.
• Coordinate with the performance marketing team for paid promotion and ad-related creative requirements where applicable.
• Suggest which posts, reels, offers or campaigns can be promoted based on objectives and content performance.
• Support social media campaigns, launches, promotional activities and lead-generation initiatives.
• Track basic social media performance such as reach, engagement, followers, profile visits, reel views and content performance.
• Identify top-performing content and suggest improvements based on performance.
• Suggest fresh content ideas and campaign concepts to improve engagement, reach and brand visibility.
• Maintain proper organisation of content calendars, scripts, references, approvals and published content.
• Ensure content calendars, captions, scripts, shoots, creatives, reels and publishing activities are completed within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Experience in Social Media Management / Digital Marketing is preferred.
• Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Reels, Stories and current social media trends.
• Strong content writing, caption writing and communication skills.
• Ability to create structured monthly social media content calendars.
• Good understanding of content planning and social media strategy.
• Basic understanding of Canva or similar tools will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite is preferred.
• Basic understanding of organic promotion and paid social media promotion will be an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with designers, video editors and clients during shoots.
• Ability to handle multiple social media accounts and deadlines independently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good research, planning, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Creative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
