• Key Responsibilities-Utility Operations Management
• Oversee daily operations of boilers, thermic fluid heaters, compressors, generators, and other utility equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, power, water, and compressed air to production units.
• Maintenance & Reliability
• 
  
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for utility systems.
• Minimize breakdowns and downtime by ensuring timely servicing and repairs.
• Energy Management
• 
  
• Monitor fuel, electricity, and water consumption.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and optimize resource utilization.
• Safety & Compliance
• 
  
• Ensure all utility operations comply with factory safety standards, pollution control norms, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and train staff on safe handling of utility equipment.
• Team Leadership
• 
  
• Supervise utility operators, technicians, and helpers.
• Allocate manpower effectively and monitor performance.
• Inventory & Cost Control
• 
  
• Maintain adequate stock of spare parts, lubricants, and consumables.
• Control operational costs while ensuring efficiency.
• Coordination & Reporting
• 
  
• Work closely with production, maintenance, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on utility performance, fuel usage, and downtime analysis.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of boilers, thermic fluid heaters, compressors, and power systems.
• Ability to manage preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Familiarity with energy management practices and statutory compliance.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Qualification :-Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering OR equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in utility management within plywood/wood-based or manufacturing industries.
