Job Title: Saree Godown Worker – Packaging & General Operations

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking person to manage day-to-day work at our saree godown. The role involves handling sarees from packing to dispatch and taking care of all general godown-related work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing and preparing sarees for orders and dispatch
• Checking sarees, quantities, and order details before packing
• Folding, tagging, sorting, and arranging sarees properly
• Handling loading and unloading of goods
• Maintaining proper organization and cleanliness of the godown
• Moving and arranging stock as required
• Assisting with receiving incoming goods and keeping them in the correct place
• Preparing parcels and handing over shipments to delivery/courier personnel
• Taking responsibility for goods handed over for dispatch
• Assisting with stock counting and basic inventory work
• Performing other day-to-day godown duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Hardworking, honest, and responsible
• Physically fit and comfortable with godown work
• Able to handle saree stock carefully
• Good attention to detail while packing and checking orders
• Previous godown/warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to follow instructions and complete work on time
