Job Description
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and responsible Field Service Engineer who will handle on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of GPS tracking devices, fuel sensors, camera systems, and related vehicle telematics equipment at client locations. The candidate must be technically sound, field-ready, customer-friendly, and capable of working independently.
Key
Responsibilities1. Installation
& Deployment· Installation of GPS tracking devices, fuel level sensors, MDVR/vehicle camera systems, panic buttons, RFID readers, and temperature sensors.
· Proper wiring and fitting inside vehicles including cars, trucks, buses, and heavy equipment.
· SIM card installation and network configuration.
· Testing device connectivity with server/software.
· Calibration of fuel sensors.
2. Maintenance
& Troubleshooting· Diagnose device issues such as offline GPS, inaccurate fuel readings, camera recording failures, and wiring faults.
· Replace defective devices or components.
· Repair wiring and connectors.
· Perform preventive maintenance visits.
· Ensure uptime as per SLA standards.
