Job Description
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for web applications, APIs, networks, and systems.
- Identify, validate, and assess security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Perform manual and automated security testing using industry-standard tools.
- Analyze vulnerabilities based on severity, impact, and exploitability.
- Prepare detailed VAPT reports with findings, evidence, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
- Work with development/IT teams to support vulnerability remediation.
- Perform retesting to verify that identified vulnerabilities have been resolved.
- Follow security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, CVSS, and CWE.
- Maintain proper documentation of security assessments, findings, and remediation status.
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
