Accountant cum Rice Mill Supervisor

Company: M/s. Chandra Modern Rice Mill

Location: R.P. Agraharam, Guttivaripalli Village, Renigunta Mandal, Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh

Job Type: Full-time, Onsite

Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month, depending on experience

Experience: 2–5 years preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain daily accounts using Vyapar accounting software.

• Record paddy purchases, rice sales, by-product sales, invoices and payments.

• Maintain customer and supplier outstanding balances.

• Manage cash, bank transactions, daily expenses and basic bank reconciliation.

• Maintain stock records for paddy, rice, rice bran, husk and broken rice.

• Use MS Excel for daily reports, stock statements and accounting records.

• Handle basic computer operations, billing and document management.

• Coordinate with the CA for GST-related records and documentation.

• Supervise daily rice mill operations, workers, weighing, loading, unloading and dispatch.

• Coordinate with farmers, brokers, suppliers, transporters and customers.

• Communicate with Hindi-speaking workers and coordinate their daily work.

• Monitor daily production, stock movement and dispatch quantities.

• Report discrepancies, operational issues and daily business updates to management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Practical knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.

• Knowledge of Vyapar accounting software or similar billing software.

• Basic computer skills and good MS Excel knowledge.

• Understanding of purchases, sales, receipts, payments, stock and outstanding balances.

• Ability to maintain accurate accounts and daily reports.

• Must be able to communicate in both Telugu and Hindi.

• Good communication, supervision and problem-solving skills.

• Honest, responsible, punctual and willing to work in both the office and mill.

• Rice mill, agricultural trading, manufacturing or stock-management experience preferred.
