Electrical Design Engineer

1. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Electrical Schematic & Layout Design: Develop 2D Single Line Diagrams (SLD), control schematics, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for LT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, Control Panels, and Distribution Boards using AutoCAD Electrical or 2D drafting tools.

·       Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation: Prepare detailed and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) including component selection (Switchgears, Busbars, Relays, Contactors, Cables, etc.).

·       Technical Specification Analysis: Interpret client inquiries, consultant drawings, and technical specifications to prepare aligned and compliant panel designs.

·       Busbar & Enclosure Sizing: Perform busbar calculations, enclosure sizing, heat dissipation assessments, and ensure compliance with clearance standards.

·       Coordination with Production & Sales: Coordinate closely with sales and production teams to revise drawings per client feedback and finalize engineering approvals.

·       As-Built Drawings: Update and release final as-built drawings following site modifications and final inspection.

2. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

·       Educational Qualification: Diploma or BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

·       Relevant Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Panel Board, Switchgear, or Control Panel design.

·       Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in AutoCAD Electrical / 2D Drafting tools and MS Office (Excel & Word).

·       Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Electrical SLD, Control Wiring Diagrams, Switchgear Selection, IS/IEC Standards, and Panel Assembly details.

·       Accuracy & Cost Optimization: Excellent design accuracy and ability to optimize layout designs for cost efficiency.

·       Communication Skills: Good technical communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and functional English.

·       Please thoroughly screen candidates on their practical skills in AutoCAD Electrical, SLD preparation, and panel design logic before sharing profiles.

·       Ensure candidates have at least 3 years of core experience in electrical panel design.

·       Candidates residing in or near Vadodara, Por, Karjan, or Makarpura are preferred.
