Gym Manager – Roles & Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the gym and ensure smooth functioning.

- Lead, supervise, and manage trainers, reception staff, housekeeping, and other employees.

- Achieve monthly membership and personal training (PT) sales targets.

- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve member queries or complaints promptly.

- Monitor staff attendance, shift schedules, punctuality, and discipline.

- Conduct staff meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the facility.

- Ensure proper maintenance and reporting of gym equipment and facilities.

- Monitor membership renewals, follow-ups, and member retention activities.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and sales reports for management.

- Manage cash collections, billing, and ensure accurate record keeping.

- Plan and coordinate gym events, fitness challenges, and promotional activities.

- Recruit, train, and support new staff members as required.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and health & safety guidelines.

- Maintain a positive, motivating, and professional environment for members and staff.
