Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Electrical Service Engineer to join our team in Vasai. This role involves traveling to client manufacturing sites for installation and breakdown maintenance.

Key Responsibilities (What you will do):

• On-Site Service & Installation: Travel to customer production plants to install, commission, and test industrial process machinery.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Read electrical drawings/schematics, diagnose faults, and repair electrical panels, wiring, sensors, and motors.Diagnose and resolve electrical wiring faults or programming bugs during machine assembly and testing. Strong background in diagnosing electrical faults, relay logic, and motor control centers (MCC).
• PLC & VFD Handling: Configure and troubleshoot VFD parameters and assist with basic PLC logic/automation inputs on the machinery.
• Breakdown Support: Provide urgent breakdown support at client locations to minimize their manufacturing downtime.
• Reporting: Prepare service reports, obtain client sign-offs after successful machine commissioning, and coordinate with the Vasai factory team.
• Electrical Design: Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
• Component Selection: Select appropriate electrical components including motors, switchgear, sensors, temperature controllers, and safety relays.
• PLC Programming and Automation: Develop and debug programs for PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs (Siemens, Delta, Schneider, or Allen-Bradley) to control machinery operations. Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA, and VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) configuration.
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) of control panels and support on-site installation and commissioning at client plants.
• Read Schematics: Ability to read electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control circuit schematics.
• Tools Knowledge: Experience using multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.

Candidate Requirements (Who should apply):

• Education: ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience working as a Service or Maintenance Engineer strictly for industrial machinery, automation, or electrical panel manufacturing, process machinery, manufacturing, packaging, or industrial plant maintenance.
• Skills: Expert at reading circuit diagrams, multimeter testing, panel wiring, and VFD settings.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively for client site visits (short/long-distance travel).
• Location: Candidates living nearby in the Vasai are highly preferred for easy reporting to the main unit.
• Field Operations: Proven track record in on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and handling client machine breakdowns.
