Accounts Manager

Job Responsibilities

·       Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.

·       Ensure accurate and timely accounting in Tally Prime.

·       Review and approve accounting entries, vouchers, invoices and ledgers.

·       Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank accounting.

·       Review and complete monthly bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.

·       Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.

·       Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and other professionals.

·       Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and other applicable statutory requirements.

·       Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.

·       Review vendor payments and ensure proper supporting documentation.

·       Prepare monthly MIS, ageing reports, cash-flow statements and other management reports.

·       Monitor accounting controls and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.

·       Assist management in budgeting, financial planning and analysis.

·       Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.

·       Lead and guide the accounts team and allocate day-to-day responsibilities.

·       Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of books.

·       Support statutory and regulatory requirements and provide financial information to management as required.

Required Skills

·       Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and Advanced Excel.

·       Strong understanding of accounting, GST, TDS and taxation.

·       Experience in finalisation of accounts.

·       Good knowledge of BRS, ledger scrutiny, receivables/payables and MIS reporting.

·       Team management and leadership skills.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

·       High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

·       Good communication and coordination skills.
