We are looking for a skilled 2D & 3D Drafting Engineer to support engineering and design teams in preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, 3D models, and project documentation for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D plans, elevations, sections, details, layouts, and working drawings from engineering inputs.
• Develop accurate 3D models, views, and visualizations for design and construction requirements.
• Convert sketches, concepts, and mark-ups into detailed drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, company standards, and CAD/BIM practices.
• Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, annotations, completeness, and constructability.
• Incorporate design revisions and comments from engineers, consultants, clients, and project teams.
• Maintain proper drawing revision control, registers, and documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines to resolve clashes and discrepancies.
• Prepare construction, fabrication, shop, erection, temporary works, and as-built drawings, as required.
• Extract 2D drawings and details from 3D models.
• Prepare 3D illustrations to support construction methodology, coordination, reviews, and presentations.
• Identify discrepancies between design and site requirements and coordinate with engineers for resolution.
• Deliver drawings and models within agreed schedule and quality requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant 3D/BIM software such as Revit, Tekla, Navisworks, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings, construction practices, detailing, dimensions, and drafting standards.
• Ability to interpret structural, architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Relevant construction/engineering project experience is preferred
