The position in discussion is with the Deal Advisory team at KPMG Global Services (KGS), which is KPMG's global delivery centre and is an integral part of the firm's strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally. KGS DA has been providing solutions to KPMG member firms globally. 

Leveraging insights and applying best practices, the team helps create customized approaches to M&A transactions. The team's capabilities include Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Strategy, Business Modeling, Accounting Advisory Services, Deal Advisory Research and Benchmarking.

 Work as a key member of the growing Accounting Advisory Services team. The team provides specialist accounting and financial reporting advice to clients across a range of areas wlthin the IFRS, SWISS GAAP and US GAAP framework. Projects focus on the application of IFRS / US GAAP / Swiss GAAP technical accounting— in particular accounting policy conversions and GAAP analysis, preparation of financial statements or carve out accounts, merger and acquisitions, implementation support for new standards, group restructurings, and training. 

Candidates must have strong IFRS and / Or US GAAP accounting knowledge and experience. It is preferable (but not a mandate) that those experiences were gathered on advisory or consulting engagements rather than assurance engagements.

CA / CPA / ACCA Strong technical accounting experience with IFRS / US GAAP
