Deputy General Manager - Smart Factory
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
'- Develop and execute the Smart Factory / Industry 4.0 roadmap aligned with business and manufacturing objectives.
- Identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, connected operations, and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead implementation of technologies such as:
- Industrial IoT (IIoT)
- MES/MOM systems
- SCADA and PLC integration
- Machine connectivity and industrial networks
- Digital dashboards and real-time production monitoring
- Advanced analytics and AI/ML
- Predictive maintenance
- Digital quality management
- Digital work instructions and operator solutions
- Digital twins and simulation
- Robotics and autonomous systems
- Integrate OT systems with IT platforms, ensuring secure and reliable data flow.
- Develop manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and analytics for OEE, downtime, throughput, quality, scrap, energy, and maintenance performance.
- Lead pilot projects and scale successful digital solutions across production lines and plants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and translate them into practical digital solutions.
- Establish standards and best practices for smart manufacturing architecture, data, connectivity, and technology deployment.
- Evaluate emerging Industry 4.0 technologies and recommend solutions based on business value, scalability, and ROI.
- Support cybersecurity, data governance, system reliability, and compliance requirements for connected manufacturing environments.
- Develop business cases, investment proposals, project plans, and ROI assessments for smart factory initiatives.
- Manage external technology partners, system integrators, and solution providers.
- Train and coach manufacturing teams on digital tools, technologies, and data-driven ways of working.
- Establish continuous-improvement mechanisms to measure and sustain the benefits of digital transformation.

Qualifications
BE - IT
'- Experience with Manufacturing Technology platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Schneider Electric, SAP, Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP, or equivalent industrial technology ecosystems.
- Knowledge of OPC UA, MQTT, APIs, SQL, industrial Ethernet, and common OT/IT integration architectures.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or similar analytics tools.
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles and standards such as IEC 62443.
- Experience with digital twins, computer vision, robotics, or AI-based manufacturing applications.
- Experience deploying smart factory solutions across multiple production lines or sites.
- Relevant certifications in Industry 4.0, Lean Six Sigma, automation, project management, or cloud technologies.
