Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Executive to manage customer inquiries, assist clients with shipment rate generation and shipping label generation and support daily courier and logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, assisting customers with shipment-related queries and building strong customer relationships to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls related to courier and logistics services.
• Assist customers with shipment rate generation based on pickup location, delivery location, package weight and dimensions.
• Guide customers through shipping label generation and shipment booking.
• Follow up with potential customers and convert inquiries into business opportunities.
• Explain shipping services, courier partners, pricing and delivery options to customers.
• Resolve basic customer queries related to shipment booking, labels and shipping rates.
• Follow up with customers who have generated shipping rates but have not completed their bookings.
• Maintain customer records, call details and follow-up status in the CRM or company system.
• Coordinate with the operations and support teams to resolve shipment-related issues.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Achieve assigned daily calling targets and monthly business development goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate or undergraduate candidates with good communication skills may apply.
• Good verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. Marathi is an advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Ability to explain shipping rates and label generation processes clearly.
• Good customer handling, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work towards calling targets and business development objectives.
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.

• Number of customer calls handled daily.
• Number of new customer inquiries generated.
• Conversion rate from shipping rate generation to shipment booking.
• Number of customers activated on the shipping platform.
