Retail Store Manager

We are looking for Manager for Amma's Pastries, Budigere — a recently launched franchise-owned outlet, to run daily operations and grow sales. You'll own the outlet end-to-end — customers, cash, staff, and stock.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue

• Drive daily walk-in sales and grow custom cake/dessert order volume (this is our highest-margin segment — active focus expected)
• Build repeat customer base through in-store engagement and local outreach (societies, offices nearby)
• Track daily/weekly sales numbers and report against targets

Operations

• Ensure outlet is stocked, clean, and presentation-ready at open and through the day
• Coordinate with kitchen/production for timely replenishment — no stock-outs on fast movers
• Manage cash handling, daily reconciliation, and reporting

Handle POS/billing accurately

• Own inventory accuracy — track wastage, spoilage, and shrinkage daily; flag and explain variances between stock-in and stock-sold

Team

• Hire, train, and manage counter staff (2–3 team members)
• Set shift schedules, ensure attendance and discipline
• Handle customer complaints and staff issues on the spot — escalate only what's needed

Customer Experience

• Fix the walk-in experience — greet, upsell, no rude/absent staff at counter
• Handle complaints professionally, protect outlet reputation

Requirements:

• 2–4 years in retail/F&B/bakery sales or outlet management
• Comfortable with cash handling and basic billing software
• Local to Budigere/East Bangalore preferred
• People management experience (even informal, like supervising 2-3 staff)

Salary: 18,000/- to 25,000/- per month + incentives
