Job Description

Assistant Manager-KDNI

KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to join our innovative KDN AI Labs. This role is central to leading the development and lifecycle management of cutting-edge AI products, leveraging emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Reinforcement Learning. The AI Product Manager will be responsible for driving the AI product strategy from ideation to market launch, ensuring alignment with KPMG’s strategic objectives and delivering world-class AI solutions.

This is a pilot opportunity, and the AI Product Manager will play a critical role in defining and shaping the AI product portfolio, working closely with development, testing teams, and external vendors. The role requires deep knowledge of the product lifecycle, from prototype and proof of concept (PoC) through to MVP, production, and market launch.

Key responsibilities include:

1.Product Strategy & Roadmap:
•Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap for AI solutions within KDN AI Labs, ensuring alignment with KPMG’s global objectives and market needs.
•Identify and prioritize AI use cases that leverage emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Reinforcement Learning.
•Drive the product vision and strategy by staying ahead of market trends, understanding customer needs, and identifying new opportunities for AI-driven innovation.

 

2.Product Lifecycle Management:
•Lead all phases of the AI product lifecycle, from initial concept and prototype development to PoC, MVP, production, and market launch.
•Manage product development timelines, ensuring that milestones are met, and that the product evolves in line with customer and market expectations.
•Collaborate closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery and deployment.
 
3.Stakeholder Engagement:
•Engage with KPMG member firms, internal stakeholders, and external partners to gather requirements, validate product ideas, and ensure buy-in across the organization.
•Build strong partnerships with external vendors, technology providers, and academic institutions to leverage the latest advancements in AI and ensure the successful delivery of AI products.

 

4.Product Development Oversight:
•Work closely with development teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that AI products are designed and built to the highest standards.
•Oversee the testing and quality assurance process, ensuring that AI products meet stringent quality, performance, and security standards.
•Guide the team in fine-tuning AI models and algorithms to optimize product performance and deliver superior user experiences.
 
5.Market Analysis and Competitive Positioning:
•Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the competitive landscape and position KDN AI products effectively in the market.
•Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics to ensure that KDN’s AI products remain competitive and relevant.
•Develop go-to-market strategies for AI products, including pricing, positioning, and sales enablement.

 

6.Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
•Foster a culture of innovation within the product team, encouraging experimentation, rapid prototyping, and iterative development.
•Continuously seek feedback from users/stakeholders to improve and refine AI products, ensuring they meet evolving market and customer needs.
•Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI technologies and methodologies, bringing new ideas and best practices into the product development process.

Educational qualifications

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Advanced certifications in AI/ML, Product Management, or related disciplines are highly desirable.

 

Work experience

•6+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on AI, Machine Learning, or related technologies.
•Proven track record of leading AI product development from concept to market launch, with hands-on experience in managing all phases of the product lifecycle.
•Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including Gen AI, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, Reinforcement Learning, and their applications.
•Experience working with development and testing teams to deliver high-quality AI products, preferably in a global or multi-disciplinary environment.
•Strong background in market analysis, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategies for AI products.

•Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value to the business and customers.
•Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders, including senior executives and external partners.
•Knowledge of AI product development tools and platforms, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Databricks, and cloud services like Azure.
•Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in leading Agile product teams.
