Job Description – Staff Yardi SME (Private Markets & ETL)

 

Job Summary

 

The Staff Yardi SME will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Yardi Investment Management solutions while acting as a bridge between business, data, and technology teams. The role requires strong knowledge of Yardi, Private Markets operations, and ETL processes to support data onboarding, migration, integration, and ongoing platform optimization.

 

 

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

 

• 3+ years of experience working with Yardi Investment Management or related Yardi solutions.
• Understanding of Private Markets, including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Fund investments.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and migration activities.
• Familiarity with investment fund structures, legal entities, portfolio companies, and underlying assets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
• Understanding of investment operations, accounting, reporting, and portfolio administration processes.
• High-level understanding of data models and data integration concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Act as the subject matter expert for Yardi Investment Management and related modules.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements.
• Support data migration, onboarding, and ETL activities including mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams to resolve functional and data-related issues.
• Perform data analysis and root cause investigation for production and project-related issues.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and post-production validation.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, data mappings, and process guides.
• Provide functional support and training to end users.
• Contribute to process improvements and data quality initiatives across the investment platform ecosystem.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Experience with Yardi Investment Management implementations or upgrades.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools.
• Experience working with Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Alternative Investment firms.
• Familiarity with Private Equity and Real Estate investment lifecycle processes.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
