Store Assistant

Summary

The Stores Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse and stores operations by ensuring proper receipt, storage, handling, and issue of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in receiving, storing, and,issuing materials as per operational requirements.

2. Support GRN (Goods Receipt Note),stock transfers, and material issue transactions.

3. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials.

4. Maintain inventory records and update stock movements accurately.

5. Assist in loading, unloading, and arranging materials in the warehouse.

6. Conduct periodic stock counts and support inventory verification activities.

7. Follow FIFO/FEFO practices for inventory management.

8. Coordinate with production, logistics, and procurement teams for material availability.

9. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.

10. Report material shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor.

11. Support documentation related to warehouse and inventory operations.

12. Comply with company safety policies and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

* SSLC / PUC.

* 0–2 years of experience in Stores,

Warehouse, or Logistics (Freshers can also apply).

* Basic knowledge of inventory handling

and warehouse operations.

* Ability to maintain records accurately.

* Basic computer knowledge is an added

advantage.
